Bluesky records, handles and verification

Inspect repository, collection and record key without confusing them with a CID.

Account identity and record identity differ

The DID lookup opens the account identity. The AT URI inspector reads a record address: repository authority, collection and record key. A record key is not a CID.

A handle-based AT URI can change meaning when the handle changes or is reused. A DID-based URI identifies the repository by DID. Neither URI contains a content-addressed CID; a strong record reference requires source data that supplies both URI and CID.

Paste a complete AT URI or Bluesky post, feed or list link and choose Inspect record link. The tool shows its structure without fetching a profile. For supported collections it provides the equivalent Bluesky web link. Other collection names remain visible without an invented web route.

Use Look up identity for an explicit current source lookup of the repository authority. A syntax conversion alone does not verify a custom-domain handle, prove legal identity or establish Dawg account ownership. Source creation time, AppView indexing time, verification and moderation labels describe separate facts; none is an account price.
